The 2011 CF-18 demonstration team’s acceptance show at 15 Wing Moose Jaw, Sask., last month could not have been better.

Sunny, near cloudless skies provided an ideal backdrop for pilot Captain Erick O’Connor to perform his “high” show, which is performed at a higher altitude to provide optimal conditions for showcasing the CF-18’s capabilities.

The acceptance show, which is held every year is an opportunity for air force officials to inspect and approve the Snowbirds routine before it is performed in front of millions.

This year will be the 41st season for the Snowbirds, who will attend more than 50 events across Canada and the USA.

The Atlantic Canada International Air Show organizers are pleased to announce that three major sponsors have been secured for the upcoming Show on August 27 and 28 at the Summerside Airport.
